Happily Welcoming New Clients!

Dr. Alexa Wing - Veterinarian

Alexa Wing

Dr. Alexa Wing earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Colorado State University in 2026.

She has a strong passion for working with small mammals, birds, reptiles, and amphibians, and her primary clinical interests include surgery, neurology, animal welfare, and the human–animal bond.

Dr. Wing is especially drawn to veterinary medicine because of the relationships she builds with both clients and their pets. She values open communication and enjoys connecting with people on a deeper level as they work together toward a shared goal: the health and wellness of their pet. She finds the fulfillment and satisfaction that comes from a strong client relationship and seeing the happiness that surrounds a pet’s improved health to be nearly as rewarding as helping the patient itself.

Although new to practicing in Prescott, the area feels like home to Dr. Wing. Her family lived in Prescott, and she spent many summer vacations and holidays here growing up. She has always viewed the area as a special retreat and is excited to now call it home.

Outside of the hospital, Dr. Wing enjoys getting outdoors to hike and camp, or finding a scenic spot to relax with a good book. She shares her life with three cats—Aspen, Oakley, and Magnolia—with Noli being her adventurous “adventure kitty” who enjoys long walks and car rides. Dr. Wing also loves playing volleyball and soccer and meeting new people.

Fun fact: During her undergraduate years, Dr. Wing played ultimate frisbee and helped her team win Division I Nationals two years in a row—an achievement that even landed her on ESPN.
